Nira Hand Pumps in Industrial Applications
The aluminium bodied NIRA 2, NIRA 6B and NIRA 9 are reliable hand pumps for industrial use, such as use on moving plant machinery and plumbing applications. They work reliably in hot and cold conditions (non-freezing liquids) and in dusty conditions, and they do not need electricity. The powerful twin-cylinder NIRA 6B and NIRA 9 pumps are easy to install using the sturdy attachment brackets. The NIRA 6B can pump around 40 l/min and the NIRA 9 around 60 l/min, with a maximum suction depth of 8 metres. The NIRA 2 is a handy barrel pump, which can be attached directly to a barrel and pumps around 24 litres per minute.
The pumps are ideal for applications such as:
- Pumping diesel fuels, and also for petrol/gasoline when fitted with Viton seals
- Recharging heating and cooling systems in buildings with glycol
- Charging hydraulic systems
- Charging and discharging oil containers etc.
